Friends,
If you’d allow me a few minutes, I’d love to share with you what has transpired for us organizationally this year in 2025. There are no asks or requests in this email, just heartfelt gratitude as we close out the year.
And what a tremendous year it has been.
Because of you, we held 22 gatherings, 17 of them were here locally through our Forum, Fellows, Nights, Table and Summit gatherings. Our friends in Kansas and Wyoming held an additional 5 Table style gatherings as we've formally launched KINSMEN: Table in each of these markets.
Because of you, we launched KINSMEN: Fellows - a monthly discipleship-style format with fifteen young men in their 20's. Co-led by Chase Replogle and myself, with an emphasis this year on Proverbs and God's word as our ultimate truth and wisdom. Additionally, we’re reading through Jordan Peterson’s 12 Rules for Life, which has opened up some timely and necessary discussion. I’m deeply encouraged by this group of men and what the future holds here.
Because of you, we expanded KINSMEN: Forum - a monthly connection point that combines bible study, prayer, and learning from an area sage, with an added local emphasis. Forum is full for the 2025 – 2026 season with 75 men.
Because of you, we held KINSMEN: Table three times as we broke bread with one another, sang hymns, and wrestled through topics such as reconciliation, race, physical and mental health, as well as modern day and ancient Israel. These intimate dinners have become a mainstay for connection and encouragement.
Because of you, we held KINSMEN: Nights in the Spring where we hired two local leaders that taught Father / Son and Father / Daughter pairs how to make Swiss arrows. It was a night of bonding and great fun. Many more of these types of gatherings are on the horizon.
Because of you, we expanded KINSMEN: Summit into a 3-day format. Deepening this limited and intimate gathering atop Top of the Rock and Big Cedar. We’ll continue with this special event again in late September of 2026.
In total, nearly 30% of our total revenue was earned income, which is a tremendous accomplishment. This was generated through continued Kinsmen Journal sales, Summit revenue, and corporate partnerships.
Because of you, KINSMEN paid for 50 sessions of individual professional counseling for area men to help process a myriad of topics they need to explore. We also paid for 30 sessions of physical training to help kickstart a healthy physical lifestyle.
Because of you, KINSMEN gifted more than 300 journals to ministries, churches, men's groups and individuals strategically to encourage and equip them.
Because of you, we also hired in a PT role a new project manager, hospitality director, and brand steward. As well as we paid for a full website and business platform for a local start-up who's a member of our local community.
This year, we partnered with Hook Creative to thoughtfully refresh the digital look of kinsmen.org. We launched the site in November, which will be the backbone to what we'll build in 2026 and beyond. Including weekly essays and expanded podcasting.
In 2025, we had more than 30,000 people visit our website. 90% organically. This will increase substantially in 2026 as we position ourselves more to tell the story of what's happening in and through this organization and the people who are part of it.
Oh, and 2026 will certainly be the year where we return to some exciting elements of publishing and print. We also have some additional announcements to make in Q1/Q2, so stay tuned.
We'd not be where we are without you. Your generosity and support has not only anchored us, it's propelled us forward. The ripple effect of what's happening in and through the lives of men and their families through your friendship and support is incalculable.
So with that, I thank you, thank you, thank you,
Peter Ostapko
